When Disconnection Becomes the Norm
The more we try to carry it alone, the more disconnected we feel—from others, and from ourselves.
Maybe you’ve been keeping the peace or quietly pulling away just to cope. The same arguments keep resurfacing—or the silence between you keeps growing. You feel unseen, unheard, or unsure if you’ve ever truly felt like yourself.
You’re not broken. You’re worn out—and ready for something to shift.
At Sonder Grove, therapy helps you find clarity in the chaos and reconnect with what matters most.
You’re tired of feeling disconnected—from your partner, from yourself, or from a steady sense of who you are.
About Sonder Grove
More than just a therapy office.
It’s a place to slow down, take a breath, and feel the ground underneath you—maybe for the first time in a long time.
I’m Amanda, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I created Sonder Grove for the ones who’ve been holding it all together for too long. For the ones who don’t feel at home in themselves or their relationships.
My work is rooted in attachment, shaped by story, and grounded in relationship.
It’s not about perfection. It’s about making space for what’s real, so healing has room to take root.
What therapy with me feels like
Therapy at Sonder Grove is gentle but deep. It's rooted in emotional safety and grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection.
We'll explore what's beneath the surface-what feels heavy, what’s been hidden, and what’s been hurting—so you can relate more honestly to yourself and the people you care about.
My presence is warm, steady, and nonjudgmental. Together, we'll create space for insight, vulnerability, clarity and the kind of growth that feels true to who you are.
Feeling stuck in a push-pull dynamic—where one of you wants closeness and the other pulls away
Having the same arguments on repeat, even when you both want things to change
Feeling distant, shut down, or emotionally alone in your relationship
Struggling with anxious, avoidant, or mixed attachment patterns
Conflict that always circles back to the same places
Carrying the weight of old wounds that still shape how you show up
Feeling unseen, unheard, or like you’ve lost yourself in your closest relationships
Common struggles I help with:
At Sonder Grove, I work with individuals and couples through a relational, attachment-based lens. Together, we gently explore the deeper emotional patterns that shape the way you show up in your relationships and within yourself.
How I Help:
You're looking for more than quick fixes.
You want to feel safe in your relationships and at home in yourself. You long to feel seen, known, and deeply connected—not just manage the symptoms, but create lasting change.
• Understand the relational patterns keeping you stuck
• Heal from early wounds that shaped your sense of self
Through this work I help you:
• Build stronger, safer connections with the people you care about
• Begin responding instead of reacting—with clarity, confidence, and calm
I primarily draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)— a research-supported approach that helps people move out of reactive cycles and into deeper, more authentic connection.
Whether you're navigating things on your own or in partnership, we’ll work together to create change that feels steady, lasting, and true to who you are.
